Terms of Service

The agreement between your committee and Bilby Bunch.

Last updated 6 August 2026.

1. Acceptance

By creating an organisation on Bilby Bunch or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Bilby Bunch is software that helps not-for-profit committees run their members, meetings, motions and minutes, with an optional feature for collecting payments. We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. Your account & access

Sign-in is passwordless: we email a private link that signs you in. That link is personal to you — keep it to yourself and don't share it. You're responsible for the activity that happens under your access. Roles you grant to others (Owner, Manager, Member, Viewer) determine what they can do, and you're responsible for setting them appropriately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Bilby Bunch lawfully and not to misuse it — including not attempting to access data that isn't yours, disrupt the service, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use it to send spam. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to store the information your committee enters.

5. Your content

Your organisation's data remains yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to host and process it so we can provide the service. You're responsible for the accuracy of the records your committee keeps and for meeting any obligations your organisation has under its own rules or the law.

6. Payments

Where your organisation uses the payments feature, payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Any fees for paid plans or payment processing will be made clear before you incur them. You're responsible for the taxes and obligations that apply to your organisation.

7. Availability

We work to keep Bilby Bunch available and reliable, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may suspend the service where necessary to protect it or its users.

8. Disclaimers & liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You can stop using Bilby Bunch and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On closure, we'll handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
